The purpose of the Francophonie is to educate not only students and teachers but also the French community through:
- Immersion Day for students
- Training for teachers
- Drawing contest
- Providing educational material
Francophonie Atlanta is made up of Consulates of the Kingdom of Belgium, Canada, France, Haiti, Switzerland, Ireland, Alliance Française of Atlanta, American Association of Teachers of French, French-American Chamber of Commerce, Belgian-American Chamber of the South, The Ivorian Expo, Atlanta Accueil, Ecole du Samedi, Québec Government Office, St Martin's Episcopal School, Wallonie-Bruxelles International.
